Second Cohort

The second cohort admissions were launched in August 2021. As with the first cohort, the online admission portal was accessible through the “Apply Now” menu option in the Home Page of the MASTET website.

A total of 96 candidates applied, as shown in Table 1.

All of the students accepted the offers of scholarship. However, Ayenew Yenesew, who was admitted for the Masters programme in Power Systems at the University of Buea, later declined the offer. By the time the MASTET Coordinator was informed of Mr. Ayenew’s change of decision, it was too late to take any candidate from the waiting list.
