  • Strengthen the modernization and internationalization of Africa’s higher education institutions
  • Promote the development of an African higher education and research space

Programme Management

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is the EU body responsible for managing the Intra-Africa Mobility programme and its related activities.

In its management role, EACEA is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals involved in the programme. Since the evaluation and follow-up processes require the recording and processing of personal data, EACEA ensures that all such data are handled in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 2018/1725, which governs the protection of personal data by EU institutions, bodies, offices, and agencies.

Specifically for Intra-Africa Mobility, data of scholarship holders is stored in the EACEA Mobility Tool (EMT). This portal is subject to the same data protection regulations as all other EACEA-managed systems.
